MÉXICO – After the Airport Contract in Tulum Riviera Maya
The bidding process continues for awarding the Riviera Maya Airport project with 10 competitors remaining
The state government of Quintana Roo reported that this past August 31 the first phase of the process for awarding the construction contract for the Riviera Maya airport was completed. Out of 19 competitors, only 10 survived the first phase for a project which will cost approximately 5 billion pesos. The surviving developers are: Ideal owned by Carlos Slim; Grupo México owned by Germán Larrea; Omega owned by Andrés Holzer; Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte owned by Víctor Bravo; Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico; Boston Infrastructure Investment; TAV Airports Company, and MK Energy Infrastructure.
